Reveal your blog crush! (or: December 15)
I was chatting with the lovely Ms. Sizzle today -- shortly after I had the pleasure of lunching with the fabulous Neil -- about blogs, and blog crushes (for those of you who don't know, Neil has a Blog Crush of the Day on his site). In any case, we realized that the blogging world is a lot like junior high sometimes; you read someone else's blog regularly and start to think, "he's really cool!" (insert giggle here) and eventually find yourself with a schoolgirl/boy crush on someone you don't know. It's harmless, it's fun, and it -- again, like junior high (but with writing instead of talking in the halls) -- kind of makes it extra-fun to see what someone has to say each day.
The difference between this and junior high, though? The harmlessness. What we're asking you to do is less about revealing someone you think is incredible looking (although really, that's also okay!) or the smartest person in the room -- and more about giving a shout-out to someone whose blog you're always excited to read, and might giggle internally if you met.
So get ready to make someone feel good on December 15 -- because really, how nice is it to hear that you're loved? Even if it's a virtual love...!

Your powers of persuasion have convinced me to partake in this, even though every experience with revealing a crush in my life, from elementary school onward, has taught me that talking about crushes is a bad idea.

Hi, I am a day late with your Blog Crush Day. I hope you don't mind I put it up anyway and sort of played as a tag. I also have to give your credit for the whole gig.
